BUS SERVICES are operated by a number of companies, many under contract to Staffordshire County Council. Regular services link the town with Hanley via Endon or Cellarhead, Cheadle, Cauldon Lowe, Ashbourne, Thorncliffe, Longnor, Buxton, Macclesfield and Biddulph. CUSTOMS and FESTIVALS Leek Club Day is a gathering of Sunday Schools, Scouts and Guides for an open air service in Market Place, 2nd Saturday in July. There is a well dressing ceremony at Endon each Spring. Leek Arts Festival is held every May in various venues around the town, and Leek Show is every fourth Saturday in July
